我常說:部落高等教育不提升,10年8年後,部落會原地踏步,還會往下沉淪。
原住民青年並不笨,最大問題,家長沒固定收入,加上家徒四壁,為了生活去打工,
求學途中中輟,時有所聞,聽起很不捨,因此設立大專助學金,大專生寒暑假必須返鄉服務,
才給予贊助,在家喊可憐需要幫忙時代,已經過去了,沒那麼回事。
去年暑假,我在金峰鄉設立大專生助學金,幫忙2位,今年寒假增加到7位,希望能帶動這地區讀書風氣。
這些大專生開始返鄉服務。也謝謝一路走來,支持我關心我鼓勵我的很多很多好朋友。一起拍拍手,給我鼓勵鼓勵。

又過去了,部落依然勇敢面對酷冷的寒冬生活。
曾經聽部落裡長輩們說,在早期蘭嶼的冬天,因生活困苦衣物和物資缺乏下,
很多族人不抵寒冬而離開家人。然而長年因東北季風的吹襲,讓蘭嶼的氣候在冬天裡非常的寒冷。
有了賴李會長的愛心湧入和康大哥你們的出現,我們部落的心變的很溫馨很溫暖。
請幫我們向賴李會長表逹我們對她感恩與謝意,賴李會長的菩薩心腸和康大哥的關心與愛心,
